TESSARA™ — Surface Meets Structure.

TESSARA™ explores what happens when the supporting structure of a table becomes an expressive surface in its own right.

Above, a broad circular glass top presents a dark, reflective surface with a visually clean profile. Its simplicity allows the cylindrical iron base beneath to take on a more prominent role in the composition.

Across that warm bronze-gold-toned base, contrasting surface languages meet. Small irregular markings create areas of dense texture, while intersecting horizontal and vertical lines form a distinctive grid-like pattern across other sections of the cylinder.

Rather than separating decoration from construction, TESSARA™ brings them together. The base provides the table’s support, proportion and visual identity simultaneously.

It is this relationship—restrained dark glass above and expressive patterned structure below—that gives TESSARA™ its individual character and defines Surface Meets Structure.

A Centrepiece Built Around Contrast

With a 60 cm diameter and 43.5 cm height, TESSARA™ provides a practical round surface for the centre of a living space while maintaining a relatively compact footprint.

The glass tabletop offers room for books, decorative objects and the everyday pieces that naturally gather around a seating arrangement. Its circular form also allows the patterned base to remain visible from different positions within the room.

The contrast is fundamental to the design: the tabletop is broad and visually restrained, while the cylindrical base is concentrated and expressive.

Together they create a coffee table whose practical function remains immediately familiar, but whose structural form contributes something distinctive of its own to the surrounding interior.

Every TESSARA™ table is fully handmade, with the production process carried out by hand from the cutting of individual components through assembly.

The design brings together confirmed glass and iron, using the contrast between a dark reflective tabletop and an intricately patterned warm-toned base to create its sculptural presence.

TESSARA™ requires straightforward customer assembly, with the base attaching to the tabletop. All required fixings and hardware are included.
