TARTANA™ — Checked Pattern. Quiet Character.

TARTANA™ brings pattern to the clean rectangular language of AVENELLE™ through a design built around intersecting lines, soft colour and repeated detail.

The faux-leather exterior carries an all-over checked pattern in cream and muted blue-grey tones, crossed by finer darker lines that give the surface additional structure. Within selected sections of the pattern, small heart-shaped motifs appear as a quieter secondary detail, adding character without interrupting the overall geometry.

Unlike designs in which the lid and base provide contrasting fields of colour, TARTANA™ carries its pattern continuously across the complete exterior. This creates a particularly cohesive appearance in which the rectangular form itself becomes wrapped in pattern.

At the front, a dark antique-effect metal fitting provides the defining contrast. Its curved profile and compact scale introduce a more traditional decorative note against the ordered check surrounding it.

It is this combination—structured check, restrained colour, subtle heart motifs and dark metal detailing—that gives TARTANA™ its identity.

Three Sizes. One Coordinated Set.

TARTANA™ comprises three rectangular storage boxes in graduated sizes, giving you flexible enclosed storage across a useful range of proportions while maintaining one coordinated decorative look.

Stack all three to create a composed tiered arrangement, group selected sizes together, or position each independently around the home.

The large, medium and small formats provide useful space for keeping belongings of different sizes neatly contained, while the continuous checked pattern ensures that every piece retains the same recognisable TARTANA™ character.

Displayed on shelving, bedroom furniture, within a dressing area, home office or living space, the three sizes can work together as a decorative arrangement or independently wherever enclosed storage is useful.

Every TARTANA™ box is fully handmade, with the production process carried out by hand from cutting through assembly.

An MDF structure provides the underlying form, finished externally in patterned faux leather and internally in non-woven fabric. Metal hinges support the lidded construction, while the metal front details provide TARTANA™’s distinctive decorative accent.

The design combines practical construction with a more patterned decorative language—bringing together graduated rectangular forms, repeated geometric detail and carefully positioned dark metal accents.
