BELLETTRE™ brings a lighter, more restrained expression to AVENELLE™’s book-form storage.

Across its pale ivory-toned faux-leather exterior, a repeating arrangement of ribbon-like bows is traced in fine pink and deeper rose-toned lines. Some motifs sit fully within the composition while others continue beyond the edges, allowing the pattern to feel continuous rather than individually placed.

The simplicity is deliberate.

Instead of relying on a large central illustration, BELLETTRE™ creates its identity through repetition, flowing line and generous areas of pale background. The looping bow forms introduce movement and a gentle romantic character without making the surface feel heavily decorated.

Wrapped around the proportions of a substantial book, the pattern becomes part of the object’s overall form. The result is decorative storage with a softer presence—graceful enough to be noticed, restrained enough to sit comfortably within a considered interior.

BELLETTRE™ measures 30 × 21 × 6 cm, giving it the broad cover and relatively slim profile of a substantial decorative volume.

Along the exposed edge, closely spaced light horizontal detailing creates the visual impression of layered pages. Together with the defined spine side and patterned outer covering, this completes the book-inspired appearance when BELLETTRE™ is closed.

Within that decorative form is practical concealed storage for smaller belongings.

Every BELLETTRE™ storage book is fully handmade, with the production process carried out by hand from cutting through assembly.

An MDF structure provides the underlying form, while the exterior is finished in faux leather and the interior in non-woven fabric.

The character of the piece comes from the complete composition—the structured book form, pale patterned covering and light page-effect edge working together rather than relying on an applied decorative component.

It is a considered approach to storage in which function is deliberately absorbed into the appearance of the object itself.
