FLORILEGE™ — A Garden Between the Covers.

FLORILEGE™ takes AVENELLE™ into a more unexpected form, reimagining decorative storage through the visual language of a beautifully bound book.

Across its faux-leather exterior, an abundant floral composition unfolds against a warm cream ground. Golden-yellow, deep red and white blooms mingle with dark foliage, delicate botanical details and scattered butterflies, creating a richly layered design that rewards a closer look.

The book-form construction gives this imagery a natural setting. Rounded along the spine side and framed by the proportions of a substantial volume, the piece has the presence of a decorative book rather than a conventional storage box.

Along the exposed edge, closely spaced golden detailing creates the visual impression of layered pages. Seen together with the decorated cover and spine, this page-effect treatment completes FLORILEGE™’s distinctive book-inspired character.

FLORILEGE™ measures 30 × 21 × 6 cm, giving it the broad proportions and relatively slim profile of a substantial decorative volume.

Its book-form exterior allows practical storage to take on a very different visual character from a conventional box. When closed and displayed, the floral covering and golden page-effect edge become part of the room, while the interior provides a discreet place for keeping smaller belongings neatly contained.

Every FLORILEGE™ storage book is fully handmade, with the production process carried out by hand from cutting through assembly.

An MDF structure provides the underlying form, while the exterior is finished in faux leather and the interior in non-woven fabric.

The design’s character comes from the relationship between form and surface: the structure of a decorative volume, a richly illustrated floral exterior and the golden page-effect edge brought together as one coherent object.

Rather than applying decoration to an ordinary storage box, FLORILEGE™ allows the very form of the piece to become part of its story.
